Biographies for Associates

Perry Marshall currently serves as a senior member of the HYRO management team focused on developing the business opportunities, channel partnerships and joint venture opportunities for HYRO in the North American market. He has joined HYRO in the summer of 2005 from CGI, a global information technology and business process services company.

While at CGI, Perry was responsible for market strategy and development for the key vertical markets of Government and Healthcare plus a portfolio of horizontal technology offerings in the ERP, CRM, e-Commerce & Business Intelligence areas (Technology Markets). In his previous role as the business leader for Government and Healthcare, Perry worked with all key stakeholders; CGI's business units focused on the Government and Healthcare markets, trade media, industry analysts, alliance partners and most importantly, its Government and Healthcare customers around the world, to align CGI's offerings and capabilities with the needs of their customers and to grow the CGI market and revenues. Perry was the leader of the CGI Executive Sector and Core Sector Councils defining strategy and planning for the corporation as it served these markets globally and provided the leadership to CGI's business in the Public Sector which grew by over 300% during this time to more than $1.2B in annualized revenues, rising to the number two vertical in its overall strategy.

In the area of Technology Markets, Perry worked with all of CGI's business units globally on their local markets strategies and delivery capabilities; with global practice leaders on their markets strategies and solution offerings and most of CGI's strategic vendor partners on their go-to-market relationships with CGI. This portfolio represented almost 50% of CGI's IT services business and exceeded its growth and revenue expectations year-over-year.

Early in his tenure with CGI, Perry also served CGI clients as an executive management consultant and North American practice leader. Leveraging more than twenty-five years of management experience, Perry and his team specialized in the area of eBusiness and CRM strategy, solutions development and deployment. He was frequent public speaker and facilitated and worked with senior management teams in North America, Europe and Australia. His previous consulting clients include industries such as insurance, financial services, manufacturing, government, retail and distribution.

Prior to CGI, Perry served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at a number of mid-size companies in a variety of industries including food service, computer products distribution, customer loyalty consulting and the non-profit service sector. He also has complimented this with senior management experience at a major Canadian Bank and a Global Insurance company.

Perry is trained as a Certified Management Accountant and attended the University of Toronto and York University. He currently lives in Toronto with his wife Karen and their two children, Kirsten and Spencer.
